Farm Training

Farm Training

Farm training is an important part of keeping your farm a professional work environment with a highly skilled workforce.

On going training keeps the skills of your staff up to date with the latest and ever changing guidance and helps keep your farm as safe as possible. We can help with providing specific on farm training tailored to the needs of your farm.

The following are just a few of the training courses we can offer:

  • Duty of Care – a brief insight into why we need to improve H&S on farm
  • Working at Height
  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
  • LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Manual Handling
  • Lone Working
  • Welfare and Occupational Diseases
  • First Aid
  • Telehandler
  • Pesticide Application

How Does it Work?

During our Farm Support’s visits and audits they may advise you that certain training courses are needed to reduce the risks of accidents on farm by raising awareness and knowledge.

Due to the lost time involved with travelling away from the farm it is often the case that on farm training solutions are the preferred option.

We can help facilitate on farm training for you and your staff.

The training will either be carried out by our in house trainers or if you are in need of an accredited course  such as telehandler training we will organise this training through a third party

How Much Does it Cost?

The cost of training is dependant on the type of course, and number of attendees.

Where we have to out source the training we will obtain three quotations and provide you with the most cost effective option.
